The Prime Minister of the country Edi Rama visited today the greenhouses of “Agrocon Albania” in Krutje of Lushnja, where the investment for the establishment of the largest and most modern greenhouses in the country is continuing. He was accompanied on this visit by the Minister of Agriculture Edmond Panariti and the USAID Country Director for Albania, Mr. Marcus Johnson.
Located just 1 kilometer from the center of Krutje in Lushnja, otherwise known as the barn area of Albania, the greenhouse which stretches over 30 hectares, will “shelter” with millions of tomatoes, peppers, melons and cucumbers with the highest standards of quality. Petted by the warm sun of this early spring, the little cabbages burst into a strong green color inside the greenhouse.
Agrocon Albania, during October 20-23 participated in the fair “AgroKos Prishtina”, Food and Beverage Fair. This fair opened its doors to all producers and traders of the agricultural industry for the 15th year in a row. As stated by the organizers of this event, the goal is to create a network of relationships between all agents operating in this field in all Albanian-speaking areas.
